Class 11 Minimum Race Prep


Front Torsion Assembly
Front Wheel bearings
Remove, clean and inspect , repack or replace, check spindle for cracks(magnaflux)
Replace seal
Tighten all fasteners
Drums and brakes
Check drum for cracks (magnaflux)
Inspect brakes, wheel cylinder
Lube backing backing plate
Tighten all fasteners
Adjust brakes
Wheels
Check for cracks / tires for cracks
Re-torque lug nuts
Tire Pressure 28 lbs.
Shocks
Check for leaks or damaged flex hose
Check for bent or cracked shafts
Tighten all fastners
Nitrogen charge to be ________

Tie Rods
Check for any bent rods
Tie Rod Ends
Check for excess play and cracks
Tighten all fasteners
Ball Joints
Check for excess play
Tighten all fastners
Steering Box
Check for leaks
Check for excess play
Check for bent pitman arm
Tighten all fasteners
Steering Stabilizer
Remove and check for resistance and bending
Tighten all fasteners
Grease Torsion housing fittings

Under hood
Check Brake Fluid level
Check spare tire 28 psi.
All tie downs secure

Cab
Clean or replace air pumper filters
Tighten all fastners

Rear Torsion
Remove drum and check for cracks (magnaflux)
Inspect brakes
Lube backing plate
Tighten all fastners
Re-torque axle nut
Adjust brakes
Tire Pressure 28 lbs.
Re-Torque on IRS Pivot Bolt
Check shocks for leaks, bent or cracked shaft

CV Joints and Axles
Remove and inspect CV’s
Re-grease
Torque bolts to 33 ft.lbs.
Transmission
Check level or replace fluid 80-140 synthetic

Engine
Replace fuel Filter
Replace oil (10-40 Castrol Syntec and filter HP 1 or K&N 1001)
Clean breather
Check plugs or replace
Check cap and wires
Check fan belt for tension and wear
Clean Air filter or replace

Battery
Check connections
Check tie down

Electrical
Check all lights , pumpers, fans, radio, intercom
Tighten all connectors, especailly ground lugs to chassis
