Thank you Jeff! We are going to have a blast. I'm confident Eric's swing axle will pull another one off....He has been working very hard on it and it looks brand new. Just got back from BAja 1000 At race mile 550 it was great fun and say Eric in first place pass by race mile 550 Saturday afternoon and the only other class 11 was CHICHI passed by Saturday night trying to make the checkpoint. will post pictures shortly :) also saw desert dingos race team on contengancy and we saw them towing the bug coming back on the toll road.

Five started zero finished, according to racedezert.

Okay Alaska car checking in......Made it to mile marker 120.

The pilot bushing seized up at 70 tried a little off road maintenance to no avail. Made our way to BFG @ 88. They were going to help us get it apart and the main guy running it said if they took it apart and they were told to pack up and leave they would leave us there. So I said screw it put it together and tried to make it to ck 2 to our crew. At 120 going up the summit we blew 1st gear and that was it.

Managed to get towed out to the pavement and got it push started in second, with that we drove to Valley trinidad and sat across from the Pemex at a Taco stand eating tacos and drinking tecate until the crew arrived.

Not a long run but we had fun.

I watched all day and night and the next day and night, saw you sitting at Valley T on IRC tracking, also noticed the dezert Dingos started up the summit about 10 pm. 1149 led all the way to mikes sky ranch area then stopped forever. 1105 was doing well to the San felipi loop then fell back and 1101 Eric and Robert changed a tranny around mile 40 as they were down there for a long time and made it to the finish it looked liked but over a half hour late from the oficial time limit. All this comes from watching the IRC tracking and is subject to change.

we had a blast........damn this one was rougher than last year! at least I thought so
