After I have purchased my class 11. What else do I need to compete? I have never raced before but I am very excited to start with a class 11. Can anyone help me on what I will need. Right now it is just me...No crew of anytype... I like to make things interesting!!!!!

You need a car, gas, fire suit, helmet and entry fees....everything else is a luxury.

For the SCORE Races (Baja 500 and 1000) you have a couple choices. If you use BF Goodrich Tires you can gas at their gas pits for free. You supply the gas. If you use General Tires you can pit with Baja Pits for free of course you pay for the fuel. If you decide to run other tires for the most part you will have to pay Baja Pits to utilize their gas pits. The other option is to provide your own gas pits by having your wealthy friends drive their personal vehicles to numerous gas stops and wait for you to arrive. Baja pits are fairly close together (60-70 miles apart) and from what I observed at the '09 1000, do an excellent job at providing good gas stops. There may be other options but I'm not familiar with them.
