2009 results
STOCK FULL (Stock, Full-sized trucks)—1. Joe Bacal, Anthem, Ariz./Paul Williamsen, Los Alamitos, Calif./Ted Moncure, Long Beach, Calif., Lexus LX570, 16:22:26 (26.41mph). (3 Starters, 1 Finisher) Pro Cars & Trucks SCORE TROPHY-TRUCK (Unlimited Production Trucks)—1. Robby Gordon, Charlotte, N.C., Chevy CK1500, 8:35:49 (50.309mph); Class 11 - Some past results: 2003 - No finishers 2004 - One finisher 32.6 MPH 2005 - No finishers 2006 - One finisher 25.9 MPH 2007 - No finishers 2008 - 3 finishers, winning car 25.9 MPH average 2009 - No finishers Looks like SCORE typically chooses a time limit right around 25 MPH average. The one year with 3 finishers had a long time limit for an average of just over 20 MPH. But then a similar time limit last year netted zero finishers. We'll have to see what SCORE chooses for this year's time limit. Just be clear, this is a challenge to finish. We should be saving the car and watching the overall time allowed to make sure we can get an official finish. Finish = Win |

Thats right boys - finish first - then win!
Maybe we should all get together and team up to get these cars to finish. Two car owners to one car = 2 chase teams to one car. I would rather team up and finish than be and individual and have not enough support. The goal would be just to be the time limit, |

Its supposed to be what a class 11 would take to finish, but the courses have been getting tougher and tougher the last couple years, going over the summit and stuff where cars back up have slowed us down. Good luck, see you guys at the finish in La Paz, well have a cold beer for yah when you get there!

The Baja 1000 is a world wide known event.
Here is a solution if we can get an organizer, Get all the class 11 to put some money together, Call the jeep clubs, Deploy Rock climbing jeeps at those summit / problem areas to tow all the class 11's up that get stuck. Get magnetics saying "Class 11 Assist!" ( Kinda Like Vessel Assist) Just rent some race radios for them, give them maps and fuel money, they would love it. you may even get volunteers with yellow flashing lights! Give them a booth at Tech to show off there jeep clubs. Let them get there picture with the Class 11 that finish, We need to get Class 11 across the finish line under the limit. :) |

No, this will be my first time inside a bug for Baja as navigator. I did the pre-run back in 2008 as navigator as well. It was fun; I’m back for more…
We tried to follow Dave at MORE 500, but we almost destroy the car with just 210 miles… we can’t do that again… |
