The entrys from 1975-1977 doubled that entry, look at the 1976 Baja 500 on trackside photos, there were almost 100 of them. My number was 79 that race and the first 11 was number 20. the last was 99 with several with 99 on them with :A\" \"B\" \"C\" \"D\" next to the 99. They could not go over 100 because class 1 started at 100. The class stayed huge up till the 1977 Baja 500 when 5/1600 came out. There were about 35 class 11 cars and 35 5/1600s which were class 11 cars with baja bug kits and big tires. I will give you a dollar if you can guess who beat who at that 500, and another dollar if you can guess the winning team. Yes I was involved, the driver of record was Dennis Hamilton, Those were the days!

WE GOT 13TH PLACE , no issues with the car we started last only 3 cars after us where left .

hello Dave , it has been a some time since I have posted any thing , but this weekend was my first ever race experience in a class 11 and I can Honestly say I have gained a great amount of respect for the class and was so amazed at the ability of a class 11 .

Andy Solorzano participated in the race finishing in 4th place with the rigid car.

Ensenada-San Felipe Race is always the Class 11 race.
We manage to finish in 23th place, a rear arm bolt broke in mile 8, no spare, we lost 2 hours, a good samaritan loan us a bolt in Km 77, when back to race mile 8 put it back together,re-start the car, still manage to pass 4 cars in the course. My wife for the first time was a co-pilot, she enyoy the all deal and gain a lot of respect for class 11 racers.
You should try one of this races of the CEC11 next year, I will defenetly Pit for you DaveCo.

A good friend of mine its going to be editing a Class 11 video for sale just for this race, they were about 7 cameras along the race track plus some more in-car cameras,he use to be a professional camera-man in most of the desert races, I believe that the video will be ready in 3 weeks.

Well we finished 27th. Had some problems with the rear suspension, and about 8 miles from the finish had a problem with the rear passenger side arm the screw that holds it to the car fell. So lost there about 1hr1/2

But the goal was to get the car to the finish line.
