NBC is airing its one hour piece on this year's Baja 1000 tomorrow (Sunday) at 10 a.m. Pacific time.

I'll bet dollars to donuts that it will include an interview with Robert Johnson and Eric Solorzano. Since VW is a big sponsor, I'm guessing the Tourag (sp?) will get some face time, as will the 11s and 5/1600s.

I'll be recording it.

Yeah Jim, I shared the same excitement as you did leading up to this coverage. I watched it and Just as I suspected, no Solarzano, no Johnson. We are just a bunch of nobodies in class 11.

They did interviewed us, but you see what happened. Its too bad, because if they would have watched the race, there was just as good of a race between us and Sombrero! Maybe next year..... They will rebroadcast, or sometimes its on Speed channel....

If you don't mind traveling to a foreign country, you could watch it on ESPN International. Failing that the annual official documentary that Aura 360 sells is pretty much a slightly expanded version of the TV broadcast. They add all the racing cliches and hero talk that got cut to make it an hour broadcast.
