Anyone weld the eccentric bushing to their upper BJ's?
I would think that the extra help would be beneficial in case the $@#%^$!#% nut fell off. |

You do not weld it to the ball joint, some weld it to the spindle me not included. You are guaranteed to ruin the top ball joint boot if you decide to take it apart. Double nuttall 4 ball joints and you have zip to be concerned about

I really meant welding them to the spindle. I'll pickup a bunch more nuts and try that at Caliente..

I don't weld the eccentric to the spindle although a lot of offroad beam builders do. I use a nylock on the ball joints with a drop of locktite and never had an issue. I never even had one come loose.

We also loctite the nut, on ball joints/tie rods. In addition we put a drop of red nail polish on the nut & threads. When we pit one person checks to see that the nut hasn't backed off. We prefer bright red as it stands out for a quick visual check!!!
