Does score require a 4130 cage on a class 11?? ive been getting different answers. HELP!!

no, OK!! Now do you know anybody that makes a kit for a class 11 that is not 4130??

I can't think of anyone that makes a kit for the class 11 that is 4130 off hand..

I believe that Trophysedan on this board has a kit made out of 1020 dom still.

Hi. we can build you a cage kit out of Chromolly, DOM or mild steel. it dont matter to me what we build it out of. Thanks Dennis

Ed why dont you tell the truth. after the 1000 a year ago Mike Browns car went to Wicked for storage and they tryed to copy the cage and built your car. Dennis

Truth is, in September of 08 when I started building my new car YOU were the first person I called. Truth is, you NEVER called me back and made a post 3 weeks later saying you had got my message and my car was already at Wicked. My cage was complete before long before the car you refer to showed up in their shop.

Your boys have both gave me a hard time, saying that Wicked copied your cage. Take that up with Wicked, not me. I didn't go into their shop with your top secret blueprints and tell them to copy it.

My post here was regarding the material used on my new car and I thought I was also giving you a plug. Go back and read any post I've ever made here regarding cage building and you'll find that I throw your name out there every time along with Wicked Creations.

Remember a couple of years back at a MORE race when I asked to look at your rear skid because we were building a new one for my old car? You had no problem showing it to me and we ended up doing something a little different with the help of some photos from Jeremy and Jason.

Truth, what is the truth anymore? They're so many 11 cars out there with similar builds. Your cage kits have been on here forever for all to see. Somebody is bound to use some of your ideas.

If you have such a problem with my cage, why wouldn't you have said something to me privately while we were sharing the warmth of Chip and Dave's RV at the Mint and several other races or when we pitted together at the 2008 MORE T 4 T race when I took delivery of said vehicle and you checked it out.

I am very happy with my chromo cage that WICKED CREATIONS built me and don't really give a flying fart where they got their design, but you are dead wrong in saying it was copied when Browns car was at their shop. You timeline is off.

I'll see you at the BAP, I'll even have a Dr. Pepper for you, it will be in my cooler next to Dave Co's Coke.

HMMM looks alot like the cage in my 5/1600 that Dave built, maybe this could be a 6 degrees of seperation from Slettens cage thing? Maybe you all copied Dave Co? Maybe Ed copied Dave Co who in turn copied someone else. Maybe Chip is a secret agent sent by Ed to copy the cage and give it to wicked who in turn built it for Ed? Maybe wicked stole the plans with the help of Jack Bower and now the Russians are going to try and get Ed's car back so they can decode the cage? Ed, I need that grey poupon back please!

I am on the look-out to see if anyone has copied my (our) cage. If one is found, there will be hell to pay!
