when attaching the roll cage supports to the rear torsion tube do you weld the tube directly to the torsion tube or do you use clamps like the ones used on the front beam? thanks for all the information--I realy want to get this cage finished so I can move ahead with the rest of the car.

Weld it on there. Don't forget to gusset it to the rear hoop that should be coming off the torsion tube as well.

Main hoop should be attached, a tube running from the torsion tube to the front, a tube going back from the torsion tube attaching to the tubes that go back to each side of the back window Kinda= 3 places. I dont know how to show you on the computer, but if you go to the Midnight race look me up and I will show you. With tubes in the right place, you should never bend your torsion housing--Dave

Okay, I see what you are saying now.

Horizontal tubes along the pan, the B pillar hoop (not positive how to hook that one up) and supports to the rear (c ish pillar) support..

Thanks for the offer on the midnight race. I am about to bend up my cage and want to make sure that I don't miss something silly.

On the supports that go down to the frame horns..

Are they straight up and down | |

or do they need to angle in like this \ /

It looks like they would get in the way of the starter if you do not angle them (tranny is not in the car right now so I have no good reference)

angle them Mace/ you cannot go strait down because of the starter you should stick a tranny in and a starter to be sure and make sure your motor mount is bolted up to the horns and the tubing goes as far back as possible. with out the mount bolted, you have a chance of the horn moving and making it really hard to put thos bolts in after you have welded the tubes
