It's there any procedure to check a tranny for illegal gears?
I know that a tranny has close gears when the pass me like I was sitting still, but is there any way to check a car tranny with out opening the tranny?
If we were to lift the car and put the gear in 3rd and turn the engine 1 turn, how much dose it the wheel move, I'm looking for something like this to prove that some cars are running close gear ratio in class 11 in RECORD or CODE.

Score has a degree wheel to put on the drumb to tell. If you think you are being cheated tell Ramon to drive the car.You could tell instantly if it had close ratio gears. If he is not willing to check the transmissions its a waist of time racing there. I also herd the first place car cut a huge amount of the course to win.I see Sergio and Indio are up to there same old tricks. Same old trick. Where the other cars come out the course really muddy and one car comes out really clean, like they have carried the car thru the mud (in a sarcastic way).
I heard that the third place car challenge the first place car, and the response was to open the engine's, The problem is not the engine's and we know that, the problem are the close gear ratio.

Frank Sanchez is the engine and tranny builder for my car.
In a mexican forum it has been a good discussion about this, but at the end I think the only solution is for the organizations to take action and make the rules clear. Racers will go as far as the Organization that they are racing permits them to go, that even applies to NASCAR or Formula 1.
Don't personally know Miguel Mexia, or el Indio, have race against them but dont know them, my opinion is that their tranny at the time of race are not legal to SCORE Rules, and since CODE or RECORD takes SCORE rule book as the reference this will not be legal to race class 11 any where, but since they dont check with any fixture like SCORE we will have to live with this.

hi ! hey how much do you think frank sanchez will charge me to build my swingaxel tranny to raceclass 11 and my engine. ???? sory to hear all the trubles going on in racing , I realy like the places where record races especialy west of mexicaly the terrain is difrant . well good luckand any info will help alout. thanks

It will depend on parts, but it can run from $450 up to $1500 for the Tranny.
Engine it will charge you for the service around 400 - 500 dlls, obiusly you will have to take care off the parts.

Starting new Score class 11 build and am looking for help on which way to go with an IRS trans. The rule book is a little fuzzy on what is permitted. It says no close ratio gearing but makes no mention of materials or what \"close\" means, it also mentions differentials but doesn't say if LSD is allowed. Any help would be much appreciated.
