just found out that there are 5\" wide stock (factory) 4 lug rims available!
I'm not racing! Would you run 4\" or 5\"? Are their any tire clearance issues with the wider rims? Bumpers and roof rack are standing by for powder coating while I decide on 4 or 5 inch wheels as I want to powder coat them as well! Any help would be great! Thanks J

I's say, depends on what size tire and your intended use for the car. Ol' John

I think that the narrower rims will fit the fender opening better as far as tire clearance and turning ability go.

Yeah I was/am worried about tires rubbing.
I will only be running 225/75/15 I guess I'll go with the 4\" since I have 4 of them and 1, 5\" that I picked up for a spare. I guess I'll take it back and get another 4\"er. Thanks for the feed back! J |

I had 2 shops tell me today they would not mount a 205/75/15 on a 4.5” rim, had to be a 5” minimum. Do I need to go to an independent shop?? How do I get this done??
Thanks kc |

Thanks kc Go to a flat tire repair shop that has a bunch of tires and hub caps stacked up out front with no big name brand. Cash is king. Most shops won't put tubes in tires but if you can find one of the above mentioned shop, your dialed. Obviously there's no warranty but you can get them done for about $10 bucks a tire or maybe $15 with tubes. Cheaper if you can slide the cash under the table. |
