My name is Kyle Baker, I have been lurking around here for a while, soaking up information and I figured I would introduce myself. I have been Co-driving (no-drive) in 1600 for a few years on and off and recently started riding in a class 9.

I'm in the process of building my car from a '73. I spoke to a few of you guys while i was doing tech at laughlin.

Well, I guess that's it!

Kyle,
Welcome to the site. Tons of good advise to be found here. Building a new car and asking the right questions or reading through the old posts you can have a competive car right out of the box.
As you can see the cars racing now are pretty well matched in speed and handling.
IMO the cars are maxed out now for what they are. Everyone is breaking the same parts and only minutes apart in some long races.
What you will find is that the majority of the teams freely exchange parts and help to each other in the pits. Real sportsmen and women.
Just stay out of Daveco's way......
