I have been lurking on this site for a little while now (and my first post) and I am not trying to make this a common repost but it seamed to work for the last guy.

I am looking to join a team. I live in San Diego and I love VWs and racing, I have been infatuated with the excitement of racing for a long time and now I would like to be involved.

Let me know if you are looking for a guy to join your team. I can weld and fabricate, I am a heavy equipment/diesel mechanic for a living and a pretty good grip on VWs.

I also work with baja pits and Locos mocos (locosmocos.net) and we go to baja for pitting! it is lots of fun! i was pit captain for baja pits 3 at the last baja 1000, we would love to have u come, just make a name on the locos mocos site and say who you are! our team is amazing and lots of fun!

I see that it is voluntary organization, I would also like to be part of the the pre-race prep and the building of the the race vehicle.

I am still going to look into Locos Mocos and baja pits for sure!!
