Hello all im a newbie 11 but not new to desert and racing, anyways score rule book is kinda cloudy in this department? are dual carbs 11 legal?

Cause my bug project has dual solex carbs that are running perfect and before i take those off, i wanted to see if they were legal.

This model is similar to the 28 PICT-1 except that it has a larger venturi. This model also does not have a power fuel system.

Will it work on a 70?

On the solax carb you want the 30 pick 1, carb with the main jet in the drain plug. Or there in side the carb. Suck getting in and out. Hope this helps.

you're looking for a round bowl 30. Cb Performance sells one of only about $70 brand new. Then do all the tricks to it. Plug the float vent, remove the choke and plug it's shaft holes, rejet, vent the float out the top of the float chamber lid and you're done. You'll need to fashion an idle stop for the adjuster screw. Mine came out fine. Haven't run it though. Get a jet from a mikuni carb at a motor cycle shop size 150 if you have a good cam, compression and open exhaust. that's it.
