I was wondering if there is an exhaust system that is preferred for the 11s. If people have different choices, what are some of the pluses and minuses to each system? The info's much appreciated....

The VW THING exhaust is a very easy exhaust to deal with because of the overall depth of the tubes. It is built that that the J tubes do not drop down real far below the motor allowing for more ground clearance. On our car, we tried to keep te exaust up as high as possible to allow for a skid plate to be built closely to the car to allow for better ground clearance. Kymco sells one for around $100.

Good tip lapdance. I was considering an S&S or Tri-Mil type extractor/header. What about custom building with U-bends?
