we are replacing the floor pans in our 73 beetle. we bought the proper replacement part from jcwhitney but they do not have a serial number on them. How/ where would i get floors that have the serial number on them. Also would the fact that they are replacement floors from jcwhitney even be allowed?
You will NOT be replacing where the serial number is, only the pan halfs. The numbers are under the back seat in front of the opening for the shif coupler
